IEEE CPERE 2023: Special Session on Electric Machines and Drives in Renewable Energy Applications

Session Description:

This session seeks papers on innovative electric machines and drives technologies that are relevant to electric vehicle and renewable energy generation & conversion. Of special interest is research on machine design, converter and inverter design, maximum power operation of machine-drive systems, and relevant control methods. Emphasis on innovative technologies and topologies with low cost, high efficiency, and easy manufacturing is also of interest. Applications in EV, wind, micro-wind, classical hydro, river runoff hydro, marine, hydrokinetic, and other renewable energy applications are encouraged.

Timeline:

5-6 pages paper submission: November 30th, 2022

Decision announcement: December 15th, 2022

Final paper submission: January 1st, 2023

Special Support: Special travel support, conf. registration support, or hotel support will be granted for Student attendance with conditions that they are the first author of their accepted paper, and they will present it.
