IEEE CPERE 2025: Special Session on Electric Machines and Drives in Renewable Energy Applications

Session Description:

This session seeks papers on innovative electric machines and drives technologies that are relevant to electric vehicles and renewable energy generation and conversion. Of special interest is research on inverter-fed machine design converter, maximum power operation of machine-drive systems, and relevant control methods. Emphasis on innovative technologies and topologies with low cost, high efficiency, and easy manufacturing is also of interest. Applications in EV, wind, micro-wind, classical hydro, river runoff hydro, marine, hydrokinetic, and other renewable energy applications are encouraged.

Timeline:

5-6 pages paper submission: May 15th, 2025

Decision announcement: June 15th, 2025

Final paper submission: July 31st, 2025

Special Support: Special travel or accommodation support will be granted for student attendees who are the first author of their accepted paper, IEEE PELS student members, and are presenting it.
